Students will explore the coiling process to create a variety of bowls, mugs, and vases. All skill levels are welcome, and all forms of expression will be encouraged.

Beginning Calligraphy (3 Hours), Saturday, August 21, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

This introduction to calligraphy includes instruction on how to set up your space, how to hold the pen properly and how to form the strokes needed to make beautiful letters. The instructor will provide the pen and special calligraphy paper for a small materials fee. Marywood Joins Double the Pell Alliance

Marywood University joins a national campaign with the #DoublePell Alliance. Millions of students nationwide rely on Pell Grants in order to earn a college degree, and because the grant’s buying power has fallen, a national effort has been organized to double the Pell Grant. The higher education association community in Washington, D.C., unanimously agreed to make “Doubling Pell” its number one priority this academic year. The Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities is an active participant in this effort, and, as a result of Marywood’s membership in ACCU, along with its longtime concern for students from low-income families, Marywood is committed to advancing this initiative.

Transfer Tuesdays Program (8/17)

Ready to start something new? Marywood University is holding its Transfer Tuesdays program for college students or former college students who are considering transferring to Marywood University. We welcome transfer students at all stages of their college careers.
