The St. Alphonsus Society

The St. Alphonsus Society, named in memory of St. Alphonsus Liguori, a patron saint of the IHM Congregation and of Marywood University, honors the University's most faithful benefactors. The St. Alphonsus Society comprises benefactors whose lifetime commitment to Marywood University reaches $500,000 or more.

Clubs within the St. Alphonsus Society

The St. Teresa of Avila Benefactors Club recognizes benefactors whose annual gifts to the University total $2,500,000 and above. 

The Immaculate Heart of Mary Benefactors Club recognizes benefactors whose annual gifts to the University total $1,000,000 to $2,499,999. 

The "Abundant Life" Benefactors Club recognizes benefactors whose annual gifts to the University total $500,000 to $999,999. 

The 2015 Society

The 2015 Society acknowledges Marywood University's most generous annual benefactors. A gift of $2,015 or more for fiscal year 2012-2013, ending June 30, will enroll you in the 2015 Society.

The Sister Theresa Maxis, IHM Club named in honor of the co-founder of the IHM Congregation, recognizes benefactors whose annual gifts to the University total $20,000 or more within the fiscal year.

The Father Louis Gillet Club named in honor of the co-founder of the IHM Congregation, recognizes benefactors whose annual gifts to the University total $10,000 to $19,999 within the fiscal year.

The Sister M. St. Mary Orr, IHM Club named in honor of the eighth president of Marywood (1961-1970), recognizes benefactors whose annual gifts to the University total $5,000 to $9,999 within the fiscal year.

The Sister M. Coleman Nee, IHM Club named in honor of the ninth president of Marywood (1970-1988), recognizes benefactors whose annual gift to the University total $2,015 (or the minimum 2015 Society level for the given year) to $4,999 within the fiscal year.

The Legacy Society

The Marywood Legacy Society honors benefactors who have established planned gifts with Marywood University or have named Marywood as a beneficiary in their estate plans, either through a bequest, deferred pledge agreement, trust, gift annuity, pooled income fund or retirement account.
