"Windows to the World" the 4th Annual Community Leadership Celebration
On Thursday, May 4th, hundreds of business professionals, community leaders, and friends of Marywood University came together to attend the University’s fourth annual Community Leadership Celebration. This event was a very unique dining and entertainment experience.
Marywood’s Center for Athletics and Wellness was transformed into a mystical venue where statues came to life, living florals roamed the arena, and aerialists flew above the crowd, performing daring feats with effortless grace.
Partygoers were treated to performances by some of Marywood’s most gifted students with musical selections from Godspell, and a jazz saxophone quartet, all while enjoying a culinary world tour, with specialties from New York, Paris, Tokyo, and Rome. The evening culminated with a performance by NYC Dueling Pianos, spurring spontaneous dancing on the floor!
We were excited to honor this year’s Lead On award recipient, Dr. Patrick Fricchione, who exemplifies a life of service and generosity to others. Proceeds from this year’s event benefit the President’s Innovation Fund, a newly established comprehensive fund that supports Marywood’s growth and innovation as an academic community.
Although you were not able to join us, it’s not too late to make a donation to the President’s Innovation Fund. Your generous donation by June 30, will help to make it possible for Marywood to continue her mission of academic excellence.

Presidential Listening Tour Atlanta Georgia
The Southeastern Chapter of the Marywood Alumni Association welcomed Sister Mary Persico, IHM the 12th President of Marywood University as she continued on her Presidential Listening Tour.
